Clearview FCU Expands Check Cashing Service to Nonmembers

PITTSBURGH -- Nonmembers will have more access to Clearview Federal Credit Union's check cashing service.

On April 2, the $600 million credit union said its check cashing services have been expanded to its Brentwood and Kennedy Township branches. Area residents can visit these Clearview branches and cash payroll and government checks for a fee of $2.00 per check, according to the credit union. Residents do not need to be a member of Clearview or have an account at the credit union to take advantage of the service.

For nonmembers visiting Clearview, a valid driver's license or government-issued photo identification and general personal information will be required in order to cash a check, according to the credit union. Payroll and government checks in the maximum amount of $1,500 will be accepted.
