Cypress Software Hires Brian Lee as New Vice President for Development

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas -- Cypress Software Systems has named a new vice president of software development.

Brian Lee will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the company's software development efforts and will focus on strategic goals. He brings more than 19 years of project management and software development experience to the job, the company said.

Lee had been a senior developer and software architect at Lockheed Martin's missiles and fire control division in Grand Prairie, Texas. He also had been a project manager for ABL Consulting of Euless, Texas, where his clientele included JP Morgan Chase, Wachovia, Union Pacific Resources and the Tennessee Valley Authority.

"His team-oriented, client-focused approach to software development will give us a significant advantage as we continue to enhance our automated loan decisioning software and refine our application service provider capabilities," said Stephen Sargent, president and CEO at Cypress.

Cypress (www.go-cypress.com) provides automated credit application decision support technology to credit unions, community and regional banks and finance companies.
