AEA of Arizona Again Captures 'Best of' Honor in Yuma County

YUMA, Ariz. -- Marking some kind of local record, the $344 million AEA Federal Credit Union has done it again: It was named "Best Financial Institution in Yuma County" for the seventh year in a row.

The honor was bestowed by The Sun newspaper, which reported two weeks ago on the results of local polling.

"In our community of 90,000, which in season swells to 200,000, it's pretty neat to win this kind of recognition since we have the major banks, three community banks, plus branches of Navy Federal," boasted Denise Sweet-McGregor, executive vice president.

The "Best of Yuma" competition is sponsored by The Sun, with votes submitted via mail and the Internet by local readers.

"We consider this honor as very special, and we don't take it lightly," said Sweet-McGregor. "It tells us that our members appreciate good service and quality financial products. Continually seeking new ways to reach higher levels of member satisfaction is a primary organizational objective for us."
