Elevations CU Opens 3 New Branches

BOULDER, Colo. -- After dropping its federal charter a year ago, the $760 million Elevations Credit Union announced last week it plans to add three new branches in Boulder and Broomfield Counties over the next 12 months.

The new branches will be opened in Erie, Longmont and Superior, said Elevations, which converted to a state charter to take advantage of what it called field of membership opportunities.

"Branches in these areas are important to meeting the needs of existing Elevations Credit Union account holders and offer convenience to potential account holders," said Dennis Paul, assistant vice president of business and community development.

Elevations previously was known as UofC FCU. Under its state charter, the credit union can now branch in Broomfield and Boulder County and sections of Westminster, situated in Adams and Jefferson Counties.
