Venable Law Firm Hires Former FDIC Member

WASHINGTON -- Joseph Lynyak is the latest lawyer to be hired at Venable LLP, the law firm that is home to two credit union veterans.

Lynyak has joined Venable's financial services group as a partner in the firm's offices in Los Angeles and Washington. A former member of the FDIC Honors Program in Banking Law, Lynyak has practiced

law in financial services for

his entire 30-year career, ac-

cording to Venable. Lynyak previously served at financial services law firm Buckley Kolar LLP.

Venable's attorney roster also includes Bruce Jolly, currently serving as general counsel to NASCUS and former counsel for CUNA. William Donovan, former general counsel of NAFCU with 31 years of experience in government relations in the financial services area, is also with Venable.
