Mobile Service Launched at Bellco CU

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. -- Bellco Credit Union is now offering mobile banking to its 165,000 members.

The new service from Denver's largest credit union includes the ability to check account balances and histories, transfer funds and manage online bill pay, as well as check rates and find a branch or ATM.

The $1.6 billion CU is using technology from California-based MShift Inc. to provide the service, which does not require personal information to be stored on the mobile device and can be used on nearly any cell phone or PDA.

"Bellco Credit Union introduced our new mobile banking service to provide our members with the convenience they need in their busy lives," said Sandra Sagehorn-Elliott, Bellco vice president of customer relationship management.

Bellco members can access the service through the online banking site at www.bellco.org.
