Baton Rouge CU Chooses Extractable

BATON ROUGE, La. -- A Web strategy consultancy has been called in to help Campus Federal Credit Union update its Web site, six years after its latest launch.

Extractable of Washington, D.C., will research the 39,000-member CU's online needs, using a survey and other tools, and then will re-design the site (www.campusfederal.org). Changes will include a new layout, Google maps to branch locations, and RSS feeds on loan rates, as well as search engine optimization changes.

"The big picture is to create a 'virtual' Web branch so that our members have a viable alternative to the traditional branch," said Sridhar Kondapalli, assistant vice president of information technology at $340 million Campus FCU.

"We also want to give the Web site a fresh look and make it easier for existing and potential members to find information," Kondapalli said.
