CU Exec Takes Home National Recipe $25,000 Grand Prize

ATLANTA -- Basking in the glow of savory success, Dawn White's "shrimp salad delight" was recently named the 2007 Lawry's Tasty Traditions 'Reel Creative Meals' winner.

White is vice president of marketing at $122 million The Coca-Cola Company Family Federal Credit Union. White, along with her four children and granddaughter, submitted the recipe that features a winning combination of Lawry's seasonings and marinades (http://www.lawrys.com/Main/PromotionHome.aspx).

The family won $25,000, which they plan to invest in their music business. They also received some of Lawry's products. In addition, Lawry's contest spokeswoman, restaurant owner, and home d?(C)cor expert B. Smith, treated the winners to dinner at her Manhattan restaurant.

"Their passion for cooking and singing made this contest the perfect opportunity to showcase their talents," White said. "They developed a video, which included a creative script, original music, and a Lawry's jingle.

White was scheduled to appear Feb. 18 on the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show.
