Eastern Financial Florida CU President/CEO Stephen McGill Resigns

MIRAMAR, Fla. -- Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union's Stephen C. McGill has stepped down as President/CEO.

Senior Vice-President of Sales/Member Service Gary Lanier and Senior Vice-President of Finance/Administration James Pavlonnis will assume interim duties while the credit union conducts a search for a new president/CEO.

McGill is a 24-year veteran of Eastern Financial, having served in various roles including CEO since 2004. He is widely credited with growing the credit union's branch network, launching a commercial lending operation, and expanding productand service offerings to the membership.

"I want to thank Steve for his many years of service and wish him good luck in his future endeavors," said Board Chair Peterjohn Plummer. "He made significant contributions to this credit union which will always be appreciated."
