New CEO Takes Helm at Group Health CU

SEATTLE -- Group Health Credit Union has hired John Cruz Iglesias as its new president/CEO.

Iglesias succeeds Joseph Veneziani, who retired nearly a year ago. Iglesias also served as the consumer loan product manager and indirect lending manager at $7.6 billion Boeing Employees' CU.

"Continued growth is a major focus for Group Health Credit Union," said Catherine Bailey, board chairperson. "John has demonstrated a talent for understanding the member's need and helping others within the credit union deliver for that need. He will be a key part of our continued financial success and commitment to a superior member experience."

Group Health serves more than 28,000 members.
