Firestone FCU President/CEO Jeff Rush to Retire

AKRON, Ohio -- Firestone Federal Credit Union President/CEO Jeff Rush is retiring effective Feb. 27, 2008.

Firestone FCU Executive Vice President Wayne Chapman has been promoted and will serve as the new president/CEO.

Rush began his credit union career in 1958 as a federal credit union examiner. He became manager of Firestone FCU in 1965 and helped the credit union grow from less than $1 million in assets to over $175 million in assets.

Chapman has been on the Firestone FCU credit committee and board of the credit union since 1985.

As for Rush, he will remain on the board and will serve as chairman in February 2008.
