LAFCU Opens Sixth Branch

LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Federal Credit Union has opened its newest full-service branch in the City of El Monte.

The credit union's sixth branch represented its increasing growth and unwavering commitment to provide valuable financial services to Los Angeles-area residents, becoming their financial source for life.

The facility is located in a major shopping center flanked by a Starbucks and Quizno's restaurant and is easily accessible from the San Bernardino Freeway.

"We are pleased to open this new regional branch in the City of El Monte, designed to serve both our existing and potential members in the San Gabriel Valley," said John Dea, executive vice president/chief operational officer of LAFCU. "We think it will be a great addition to our other regional branches located in areas where our members live and work."

The branch features an ATM, free Internet account access in the lobby, and, to celebrate the new location, the first 100 people who joined LAFCU and opened a checking account at the El Monte branch received a special gift.
