CUs Expect New Year Will Bring Slight Rise In Mortgage Delinquencies

HOBOKEN, N.J. -- The votes are in and, in the face of the subprime debacle ravaging other for-profit lenders, Credit Union Times readers are expecting their mortgage delinquencies to slightly increase in 2008.

Here are the final results of the Credit Union Times voting poll:

My credit union expects our mortgage delinquencies (more than 60 days) to ______ as a percent of delinquencies in 2008.

-Increase significantly (20.3%)

-Increase some (44.8%)

-Remain the same (30.2%)

-Decrease (1.2%)

-Not sure (3.5%)
