Long-Time Alta Vista CU Board Member Remembered

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. -- Alta Vista Credit Union is mourning the loss of longtime board member Inez Lopez.

A member of the credit union board for over 24 years, Lopez was known as a great representative of the civil service sector during the years when Norton Air Force Base was operational. Upon the base closure, rather than retire from her position on the board, she chose to spend her time reading board packets, analyzing data and reports, and attending board meetings and planning sessions.

"We have greatly appreciated Ms. Lopez's many years of dedicated service to our credit union. We will miss Inez's presence and guidance as well as her wonderful laugh and ready smile. The imprint she made on us all will remain with us for some time to come," said Alta Vista CU Chairman William G. Kastner.
