NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- Bill Beardsley has been named the new chairman of NACUSO's Business Services Advisory Board.
Beardsley is president and chief lending officer of Michigan Business Connection, a CUSO serving the state's credit unions. In his new chairman role, he has set advisory goals for the areas of Small Business Administration lending, training and credit union regulatory oversight and collaborative underwriting.
NACUSO currently utilizes four advisory boards to ensure the organization responds to the financial services, operational services, business services, and consumer lending segments of the industry.
As an initial step in implementing NACUSO's National Center for Collaboration and Innovation, launched earlier this year, a fifth NACUSO advisory board for critical thinking, innovation and implementation will be added to focus on educational opportunities with universities, innovation models both inside and outside the industry, and strategy execution techniques.
