CRESCENT CITY, Calif. — Chetco Federal Credit Union staffers brought along popular Kid's Savings Club mascot Dollar Dog for a visit to the Bess Maxwell Elementary School playground to help celebrate, Red Ribbon Week.
Kids and adults alike were able to greet Dollar Dog and receive information about saving their money as well as the day's focus on the dangers of drug and alcohol use and abuse.
Red Ribbon Week is a nationwide annual event geared towards building awareness and supporting the decision to live a drug and alcohol free life.
