ARLINGTON, Va. — NASCUS Chairman George Reynolds, senior deputy commissioner of the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, has been elected chairman of the State Financial Regulators Roundtable.
|"I am enthusiastic about serving as the chairman of SFRR," Reynolds said. "SFRR provides state financial regulators a valuable mechanism to discuss and act on common issues affecting financial services regulation both on the state and national level." NASCUS will assume administrative direction of SFRR during Reynolds' two-year term.
|SFRR facilitates communication, coordination and cooperation among state regulatory associations to promote effective state regulatory oversight for financial services providers.
