MADISON, Wis. -- CUNA Mutual has aligned with Liberty Mutual on workers' compensation insurance.
Liberty Mutual, the second largest workers' comp provider in the country, will do all of the underwriting, claim processing and offer loss prevention services, while CUNA Mutual will continue its role of managing the programs on the front-end with credit unions.
"We felt it was important to find a provider that would help us expand our workers' compensation program to serve credit unions in all private-market states," said Jack Goodwin, senior vice president, Commercial Products for CUNA Mutual.
CUNA Mutual has had a longstanding relationship with Liberty Mutual on auto and homeowners' insurance.
