GLASTONBURY, Conn. -- Open Solutions Inc. says it has signed a five-year deal to provide core processing and complementary services to Eastern Credit Union of Trinidad and Tobago.
The $150 million CU has more than 115,000 members. Based in St. Joseph, Eastern CU (www.easterncutt.com) has nine branches on Trinidad and will be using the international version of the Open Solutions' relational database platform, The Complete Credit Union Solution.
The credit union also will be using Open Solutions' CRM and business intelligence tools, as well as its POSH payments solution, and will be the first credit union accepted into the LINX network of ATM and point-of-sale devices in the Caribbean nation, the company says.
The network is operated by Infolink Services Limited, a long-time customer of Open Solutions' Payment Solutions Group, the company says.
Eastern CU, one of the Caribbean's largest credit unions, is one of Open Solutions' first international clients to use both its core and payment solutions, says Louis Hernandez, chairman and CEO of Open Solutions (www.opensolutions.com).
