SEATTLE — The Marketing Association of Credit Unions has a new logo "emphasizing sharing and professionalism." It was unveiled during the organization's 21st annual conference here.

Schools Credit Union of Las Vegas explained that the old logo "did not clearly convey the purpose and direction of the association and was not aesthetically pleasing."

The logo images above the MAC, she said, "represent members networking and communicating with one another. Even in a world of increased competition between credit unions, we thought it very important to recognize our past heritage, present philosophy and future objectives."
