John Butler Now at Treasury

WASHINGTON -- Credit unions have a new friendly face at the Treasury Department these days.

John Butler, who recently left the House Financial Services Committee after Mike Oxley's (R-Ohio) retirement, has joined Treasury as deputy executive secretary in the Office of Domestic Finance.

In a previous life, Butler served as executive assistant to former NCUA Board Member Shirlee Bown?. He is also currently married to former NCUA chief of staff Holly Herman under Chairman JoAnn Johnson.
