Georgetown Kraft Credit Union, Georgetown, S.C., recently recognized the recipients of the 2006 Georgetown Kraft Credit Union College Scholarships. Each recipient was awarded $1,000 that can be used towards tuition, books or room and board at any two- or four-year college. The recipients for the 2006 GKCU College Scholarships are: Melissa Bray, Lydia Petrakis, Christopher Marsh, Carmen Cribb, and Patrice Cooper. The recipients were selected by a three-person committee comprised of GKCU board members and were chosen based on their academic, extracurricular activities at school, community involvement and services, and work and leadership experience.
