Kent Credit Union, Kent, Ohio, has awarded two $500 scholarships to local students in conjunction with the recent grand opening celebration of its newest office in Streetsboro. The winners were Chanice Jones and Sarah Spinelli. Chosen by a Scholarship Committee comprised of credit union board members, the winners were selected based on their essay response to the question, "What do credit unions do today, and how should they be serving their members and communities in 2010?".
