ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- After serving as NCUA's Region I associate regional director of operations, Larry Blankenberger is shifting over to the Region IV associate director of programs. Blankenberger worked out of NCUA's Albany office in Region I since 2001 before his move to Austin, according to NCUA's newsletter. He started at NCUA as an examiner in Indianapolis in 1987. He has received several performance awards from NCUA. Before coming to NCUA, Blankenberger had worked in two mid-western credit unions. He holds a degree in accounting from the University of Southern Indiana.
