SAN ANTONIO – Digital Defense Inc. says it has renewed its security compliance and risk management contract with Mid-Atlantic Corporate Federal Credit Union. Larry Hurtado, president and CEO of the San Antonio-based online security specialist, says the big corporate has many of the same compliance requirements as its member credit unions, so the pact "reduces the likelihood that their members will have to pursue relationships with unqualified firms or with companies that do not clearly understand their members' needs." Leigh Philobosian, vice president of marketing at the 1,100-member Mid-Atlantic in Middletown, Pa., says, "We look forward to continuing our relationship with Digital Defense so that we not only enhance our security posture, but also help our members take pro-active measures to further secure their confidential member information."
