VENTURA, Calif. – Ventura County Credit Union is building a sunny brand awareness campaign with a high-profile billboard along California's historic route 101. The heavily traveled freeway runs through the heart of Ventura County, connecting with Los Angeles to the south and Santa Barbara to the north. "If Ventura County has a main drag, the 101 is it," said Carol A. Harris, CEO. "It's ideal for our brand awareness campaign because everyone in the county sees it. The credit union has another billboard on Highway 118 that catches thousands of daily commuters going to Simi Valley and beyond to the San Fernando Valley. The campaign is also supported by illuminated bus shelter ads in strategic locations throughout the county. "Ventura County residents love the sunshine, beautiful beaches and great weather. That's why we live here." says Beth Carr, vice president marketing and business development. "We want them to know that we, like them, are tuned into the Ventura County lifestyle. Because we understand them, we also offer them the best financial value."
