PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Proving it is never too early to start building financial literacy skills, Community Financial Credit Union is hosting a Money Smart Kids Activity Fair for elementary school age children and their parents. The fair will offer hands-on financial activity stations such as identifying money, setting savings goals, playing Money Smart Twister, growing money with Money Tree seeds, making your own savings bank, and identifying the difference between needs and wants. Community Financial's Activity Fair coincides with National Youth Week and Money Smart Week. "This is just one of the ongoing programs we offer youth and families throughout the year to help them prepare for their financial future," said Community Financial Marketing Manager Sarah Cousineau.
