VERNON HILLS, Ill. - Baxter Credit Union has recently been named by The Center for Companies That Care as one of the 27 organizations to make its Fourth Annual Honor Roll list. Baxter Credit Union was one of two financial institutions to be awarded with the prestigious honor. Baxter Credit Union and other Honor Roll recipients, located throughout the country, were selected for their deep commitment to elevating the quality of the work environment for their employees and the quality of life for people in the broader community, as well as adhering to the 10 characteristics inherent to a "Company That Cares." These characteristics indicate high levels of integrity, compassion and civic responsibility. "We are very proud to be recognized again as a `Company That Cares'," said Lisa Wilson, BCU senior vice president human resources. "The characteristics of putting employees and community first are the guiding principles of BCU and a principal reason behind our success. This honor is a testimony to BCU's hard work, commitment and enduring relationships we have formed with our members, community and staff."
