SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Federal Credit Union is now running its online banking and bill pay transactions through the Wescom Resources Group data center in Pasadena, Calif. The conversion of the $1.9 billion CU's online operations onto the WRG hosted platforms coincided with SACU's conversion earlier this year to an in-house Symitar Episys core processing platform. The big Texas CU (www.sacu.com) is now the largest home banking client for WRG, a CUSO of $3 billion Wescom Credit Union with more than 75 credit unions using its range of tech services. "Working closely with the San Antonio Federal Credit Union staff, as well as the Symitar conversion team, ensured a smooth installation of the WRG applications," said John Best, director of technology at WRG (www.wescomresources.com). SACU had been running on IntegraSys core processing and Internet banking platforms, according to Callahan's Credit Union Technology Survey. The 235,000-member CU is now planning to launch several more WRG products, the CUSO says, including e-statements, member-directed ACH, alerts and integration software.
