HARRISBURG, Pa. – eCU Technologies, the technology CUSO of Pennsylvania State Employees CU, is using SecureWorks' managed security services to safeguard its IT networks and client information. SecureWorks counts some 500 credit unions as clients. Adding eCU Technologies as a client is a ringing endorsement given the CUSO's reputation as a technology leader, said SecureWorks. "The reputation that SecureWorks has developed within the credit union industry played a large part in our decision to choose them for our security needs," said Tim Snyder, senior network manager with eCU Technologies. "We also did a site visit and were very impressed with their security operations center." According to SecureWorks, in January it blocked millions of attacks launched against its credit union clients, with the maximum number of attacks on any given day reaching 1,256,027.
