WASHINGTON-America's Community Bankers recently announced thepromotion of one of its lobbyists following Dan Berger's move tohead up NAFCU's lobbying team. Greg Mesack was promoted to directorof government affairs earlier this month after having joined ACB inJuly 2004. Mesack holds a bachelor's in political science andhistory from Miami University and is currently completing hisM.B.A. at The George Washington University. In addition, ACBbrought on Jodie Goff as manager of accounting and financialmanagement policy. She spent more than four years at the FederalReserve Board as a senior financial analyst. “She will be anexcellent resource for our members and take the lead in ouraccounting area,” ACB President and CEO Diane Casey-Landrycommented. She earned a bachelor's degree in business managementfrom Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and earned an M.B.A. from TheGeorge Washington University.
