RALEIGH, N.C. – State Employees' Credit Union has added an online personal financial assessment tool to its Web site. The tool allows members to evaluate their general financial condition (net worth and cash flow), the adequacy of their life insurance protection and whether they have sufficient emergency funds available. Members can also determine if they are on track to meet their goals for retirement and/or education planning, as well as create a spending plan. Based on the specific information provided by the member, the system either recommends do-it-yourself solutions or refers the member to a credit union branch for further assistance.
