Technology Credit Union Starts Offering Amex
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Proclaiming its members "some of the most demanding consumers in the world," the $1.1 billion Technology Credit Union has begun offering the American Express Card pursuant to its agreement with MBNA, the card issuer with whom it has an agent relationship. "Our goal is to find new and innovative ways to reward our members for choosing Tech CU as their financial institution, and partnering with MBNA enables us to do just that," said Harold Roundtree, Senior Vice President of Member Services at Tech CU. The credit union has also added two business MasterCard products, with and without a rewards program and a new Platinum Visa rewards card that will not include any maintenance fees. "We understand that members value flexibility and choice, and our new credit cards will give our members the options they want and the service they've come to expect from Technology Credit Union," Roundtree added. Tech CU has over 71,000 members. It serves the California counties of Santa Clara, Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, San Francisco and Contra Costa.
