BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. - City-County Federal Credit Union hashosted an open house in celebration of its move to a new locationhousing its administrative headquarters and its full-service NorthSuburban Branch Office. According to City-County FCU President DeanNelson the credit union needed the new building in order toaccommodate future growth. "We had to split up our management teamand house some of them in a rented facility because our oldbuilding was too small. This building should be able to take usthrough at least the next 20 years," said Nelson. The six-storyfacility contains more than 104,000 square-feet of office space. Inaddition to its own service facility and administrativedepartments, the credit union currently leases space to ninebusinesses. Along with member services, loans, and teller services,the new facility offers members access to a full range of servicesincluding a drive-up teller, both drive-up and walk up ATMs, CUAuto, CU Preferred Investments, and safe deposit boxes. Theadministrative staff, which includes Marketing, Operations, CardServices, Real Estate, Technical Support, Training, Purchasing,Collections, Loss Prevention, Internet Services, and HumanResources, is once again under one roof and has plenty of room togrow.
