DENVER – Aimbridge Home Loans, a division of Aimbridge Lendingand a full-service mortgage provider for credit unions, hasannounced a strategic partnership with United Federal Mortgage. Asa result of the agreement, Aimbridge Home Loans, now known as UFM,will offer CUs a broader range of products and services includinggovernment-backed (VA and FHA in some regions), sub-prime andstudent loans in all 50 states. Donna Price, director of creditunion affinity for United Federal Mortgage said the conversion willhave minimal impact on how the company conducts its day-to-daybusiness with CUs. “The name will change, but the team fromAimbridge Home Loans will remain in place and continue to providethe same high level of service and support the credit unionsexpect,” she said. By offering products and services thatpreviously only larger lenders could provide, UFM said CUs willhave additional value for members. “To build relationships andprovide benefits to larger credit unions, we needed to offer a morecomplete range of loan products and provide financing in all 50states,” said Price. “Being backed by a federally-charteredorganization like UFM allows us to offer better pricing andservices that we previously could not have.” With the partnershipbetween Aimbridge Home Loans and UFM, Aimbridge Lending now iscomprised of three divisions: Aimbridge Indirect Lending, AimbridgeFinancial Services and Aimbridge Disposition Services.
