ALEXANDRIA, Va.-NCUA announced that the 50 federally insuredcredit unions hit by Hurricane Rita are operational. The stormtemporarily closed the credit unions totaling $1.9 billion inassets, but all are now considered operational in Louisiana andTexas. Some credit unions are running from back up sites, butmembers should have access to their funds.
