GLASTONBURY, Conn. – Open Solutions Inc. recently hosted a gathering of 40 credit union senior managers at its Credit Union CEO/Directors Forum on the Pacific Ocean at Half Moon Bay, Calif. The group shared their views on strategies and heard from speakers that included former NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar, Callahan & Associates Executive Vice President Melanie El-Sabaawi and Juli Ann Callis, executive vice president/COO of KeyPoint Credit Union of Sunnyvale, Calif., an OSI client who presented a case study on her $699 million credit union's call center. The open nature of the gathering was in line with the open architecture of the OSI technology offerings, which allows interfaces with a wide variety of third-party offerings. "Open Solutions places a great deal of value on two-way communication between our organization and our clients," says OSI's chairman and CEO, Louis Hernandez Jr. "That is why we had this interactive event. It is an additional way for us to better understand what credit union executives in today's aggressive market want and need to be successful." The gathering was co-hosted by $1.7 billion Addison Avenue FCU in nearby Palo Alto, Calif.
