Saugus Federal Credit Union, Mass., has raised $10,000 for theChildren's Miracle Hospital of Boston. The donation for the CreditUnions of Massachusetts Kids at Heart program represents theproceeds from a recent Scavenger Hunt fundraiser involving SFCUstaff, directors, members, local officials and residents. Thewinning purple scavenger hunt team was honored with floralbouquets. Funds were presented to Eastern Corporate FCU to benefitthe hospital. ABNB Federal Credit Union, Chesapeake, Va., hasdonated $12,000 to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.Funds were raised during the second annual ABNB Federal CreditUnion Deep Sea Fishing Fest. Staffers and members alike donnedtheir fishing gear for a good cause. Pawtucket Credit Union, R.I.,has committed to donating up to $10,000 to The Tomorrow Fund, whichprovides financial and emotional support to children with cancerand their families. The credit union presented the cancer fund aninitial donation of $2,500, and has pledged to give $25 for eachaccount opened before Aug. 18, up to 300.
