FORT WORTH, Texas - CU Members Mortgage will be holding their 10th Annual Lending Conference in Huntington Beach, Calif. Aug. 8 and 9. The company, a division of Colonial Savings that provides comprehensive mortgage services to more than 500 CUs, says its two-day conference - "CU Members Mortgage: Staying Ahead of The Competition" - is designed for credit unions looking for innovative lending ideas and a chance to network with successful lending department managers. Among the list of scheduled speakers are: Patrick Adams, EVP, St. Louis Community CU; Tom Glatt, EVP, Portland Teachers CU; Joel Katz of Sandler O'Neill and Partners; Mitzi Zaracone, VP of Lending; First Future CU; and Linda Clampitt, VP, CU Members Mortgage. In addition, a special presentation by former mortgage fraud scam artist Kevin Barnes will give credit unions valuable information on preventing mortgage fraud.
