DENHAM SPRINGS – Neighbors Federal Credit Union (NFCU) is breaking ground on its new Denham Springs branch. The 5,300 square foot facility will feature four drive-through lanes and an additional drive-up ATM. It will also offer the convenience of a full-service lobby including safe deposit boxes and online banking stations. "We are proud to be a part of the bright future of this community," said NFCU President/CEO Norman Thompson. Construction will begin this month, and completion is anticipated by late 2005. Crump and Wilson Architects have designed the project and J.W. Grand, General Contractors, Inc. will be in charge of the construction process. The ceremony included a special blessing by Deacon Pete Schlette, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and many dignitaries from the Denham Springs area were on hand for the event including Mickey Seale, President Denham Springs Chamber of Commerce, Mike Grimmer Livingston Parish President, and Donna Jennings representing the City of Denham Springs.
