RALEIGH – State Employees' Credit Union (SECU), has once again teamed up with the Office of State Personnel, the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) and various other state agency representatives, to sponsor the "What's In It For You" (WIIFY) image campaign. There are currently over 300,000 state government employees working in North Carolina's hospitals, prisons, transportation offices and state parks. The campaign highlights the state's dedicated hardworking professionals, and at the centerpiece of the campaign is a series of radio spots featuring five different state employees from the Department of Corrections, Department of Public Instruction, Department of Health & Human Services, University System and Community College System. During the radio spots, featured staffers tell of the services that their agencies/departments provide to North Carolinians. These spots have aired during the week of May 2nd to May 8th in conjunction with State Employee Recognition Week on the North Carolina News Network (comprised of some 80 stations across the state). The radio spots also direct listeners to the WIIFY Web site, located at www.whatsinitforyou.org, which contains links to other state agencies and state employee job listings, as well as information about services offered to state employees. Visitors to the site can also enter in a drawing for free prizes.
