Nothing like a few visual aids to get your point across. Here CUNA Chairman and Texas CU League CEO Dick Ensweiler uses just that to describe how the bankers want to keep credit unions in the olden days. Ensweiler said bankers want credit unions to operate as they did years ago and not advance into new modern products and services. To illustrate this point, he held up a vinyl record. He then talked about how credit unions need to modernize, and held up an iPod digital music player to represent a modern approach. Apple Computer's iPod has been wildly successful and is viewed as the hip new way to listen to your tunes.
