PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Six more credit unions have signed with Andera Inc. to use the Providence-based company's New Accounts Online Web-based enrollment and account-opening solution, the company said. They are $573 million American First FCU of La Habra, Calif., $265 million Jax FCU of Jacksonville, Fla.; $180 million FAA Eastern Region FCU in Clark, N.J., $429 million Coasthills FCU of Lompoc, Calif., $401 million Communications Family FCU of Saginaw, Mich., and $187 million General Mills FCU of Minnetonka, Minn. That brings to 16 the number of credit unions that have contracted for the New Accounts Online service, said Andera President Charles Kroll. The solution includes electronic signatures, online funding, integration with Chexsystems and credit bureaus, cross selling and integration with leading core systems, he said. Melody Hair, operations manager for General Mills FCU, said, "Our field of membership is distributed across the country and we are always trying to find innovative ways to make the account-opening process easier."
