SAN FRANCISCO – Diana Dykstra, president and chief executiveofficer at CoastHills Federal Credit Union in Lompoc, Calif., hasbeen named president and CEO of San Francisco Fire Credit Union.Dykstra will replace John L. Rebholtz, who is scheduled to retireJuly 15. Dykstra, chairman-elect of the California Credit UnionLeague, previously served in executive positions at Patelco CreditUnion in San Francisco and at the Golden 1 Credit Union. In movingover to San Francisco Fire CU, Dykstra will be taking over thecorner office at a credit union that has less than half the numberof members than CoastHills FCU – formerly known as Vandenberg FCU.San Francisco Fire CU, started in 1951 in a fire station in thecity, has about 18,000 members and $342 million in assets.CoastHills FCU has more than 45,000 members and some $409 millionin assets. Dykstra is board chairman of Credit Union DirectLending, a system she developed while at The Golden 1, and PrimeAlliance Solutions. In addition to her league activities, she hasserved on the boards of Career Connections, Inc., the InternationalCredit Association and the CUNA Lending Council ExecutiveCommittee. A 1992 graduate of the Western CUNA Management School,Dykstra is now a faculty member there. In 2001, she received theJames D. Likens Alumni Recognition Award for her credit unionactivities and service. She also received the Distinguished ServiceAward at the California Credit Union League`s annual meeting in2002.
