FS/ISAC a Good Deal for Financial Services Security

WASHINGTON-Credit unions love access to free services. Pair that with critical infrastructure security and you have a winner. The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center-managed by FS-ISAC, Inc. and operated by the Science Applications International Corporation's Enterprise Security Solutions Group-consists of a secure database, analytical tools and information gathering and distribution facilities for sharing security threats, vulnerabilities, incidents and solutions. ISAC members will also have access to information from other sources like government and law enforcement agencies, but no government agency, regulator or law enforcement agency can access the FS/ISAC. "Basic" FS-ISAC members can receive a lot of value for no dough. Signing up for the basic package includes up to two company e-mail contacts, critical alerts via e-mail, access to an anonymous submission portal to report incident information, and participation in FS/ISAC quick polling. Of course price go up from there in four more packages ranging from $750 a year to $49,950 a year, but those also include more services.
