SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications John Worthington was awarded the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) San Antonio Chapter Del Oro Community Service Award. Worthington was honored for his years of outstanding service to the local community. Throughout his career, Worthington has served as a board member for several non-profit organizations such as the American Heart Association, Texas Public Relations Association and Greater San Antonio and North San Antonio Chambers of Commerce. In addition, he has served on local committees such as City of San Antonio Housing Review Oversight Committee and the Northwest Vista College Public Relations and Marketing Advisory Committee.
