WARRENVILLE, Ill. – The $4.5 billion Mid-States Corporate FCU has become a SimpliCD co-agent. That makes 29 corporates now offering SimpliCD, an extremely popular brokered CD program that was created by Corporate One, but will soon transition to Corporate Exchange, a new CUSO made up of 29 corporate credit unions. Corporate Exchange was established to create a brokered CD program like SimpliCD. It had two options. To create one on its own or get Corporate One to join the CUSO and bring its SimpliCD with it. A few months ago Corporate One decided to do just that. Corporate CU leaders are touting Corporate Exchange as proof that corporates are still willing and able to work together despite heightened competition in recent years.
