PLYMOUTH, Mich. – The Michigan Credit Union Marketing Allianceis taking the message that consumers will find better rates, lowerfees and exceptional service at a credit union to the road. Incelebration of Credit Union Week, starting in October, Michigandrivers will see over 125 billboards across the state's highwayswith such messages as “Better Rates Than CUs? Don't Bank On It” or“Better Service Than CUs? Don't Bank On It.” The billboards arejust part of a tiered marketing and advertising campaign thatincludes six new radio spots, lobby posters, statement stuffers andWeb icons. According to Michigan CUMA Chairman Tom Rice, thestatewide billboard campaign has been designed to reinforce thecredit union brand message of choice.
