Pacific Resource Credit Union, Los Angeles, has held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Wiltshire branch. In celebration of the opening, Pacific Resource announced a very special partnership with Children's Miracle Network in an effort to benefit local kids. For each person who joins Pacific Resource and opens one additional service through August 30, 2003, the credit union will donate $5 to Credit Unions for Kids/Children's Miracle Network. Catholic Credit Union, Yakima, Wash., has hosted a grand opening celebration for its latest downtown branch. The new 5,200 square-foot branch features three drive-up lanes and parking for 41 cars. The branch will initially lease 2,000 square feet to another business with the option of expanding into that space to meet future growth. The new branch replaces an 800-square-foot branch. Chartway Federal Credit Union, Virginia Beach, Va., has relocated its Lynnhaven branch. The new branch facility has direct access from the parkway and is across the street from a Mall. IR Federal Credit Union, Lanham, Md., has selected design/build firm KDA Holdings for its new main office facility in the Washington Business Park. The new two-story, 28,200 sq. ft. facility will feature multiple drive-up lanes and a remote teller system. In addition to administrative services, the office will house a retail branch and call center. Member One Federal Credit Union, Roanoke, Va., has recently purchased the property adjacent to the credit union's headquarters to house branch facilities, offices and an operations center. Credit Union of New Jersey, Ewing, has broken ground on its new headquarters. The new 20,000 square foot facility will contain a state-of the art banking facility with four drive-thru lanes plus a drive-thru ATM, technology centers, a children's play area and a community room. The building is slated for completion in the fall of 2004. Harborstone Credit Union, Lakewood, Wash., has celebrated the launch of its newest Center Street branch with a groundbreaking ceremony. The 5,120 square-foot building is scheduled to open in November. Three drive-up lanes, one drive-up ATM and a walk-up ATM are part of the building plans.
