FARMERS BRANCH, Texas – Buddy Gill was named senior vice president of advocacy in Austin for the Texas Credit Union League. Gill's appointment is effective Sept. 30. Gill is well known in credit union circles for his work as a national campaign director for credit unions during the 1998 campaign in Congress for passage of H.R. 1151. TCUL President/CEO Dick Ensweiler said Gill "has tremendous strategic capabilities, a superb political background, and a firsthand knowledge of Texas working at the grassroots level."
